Bringing a major energy investment to life
Showcasing the launch of a multi-million-pound, state-of-the-art training and R&D facilityOur global energy client wanted to showcase the launch of a multi-million-pound, state-of-the-art training and R&D facility to their employees, customers and stakeholders. Colleagues were broadly aware of the facility, but didn’t understand the full impact the new centre would have on our client’s operations and future success.
External stakeholders needed to understand the role the centre played as a major investment in the future of the company and the UK’s energy security. For potential recruits and apprentices, it was an opportunity to showcase the people, technology and hands-on career opportunities that make the facility such an exciting place to work.

To ensure the content had the optimum effect for each audience, we approached the project in two distinct parts.
A dynamic film to inspire colleagues
The internal film needed to capture the scale and ambition of the new centre, generating pride among colleagues while bringing its strategic importance to life.
Energy and momentum were at the heart of the creative approach. We combined sweeping aerial drone footage, low-level fly-pasts and smooth, gimbal-mounted tracking shots to capture the size of the facility and keep the film moving. Speed ramping added further pace, while macro lenses and slider shots revealed the intricate details of the technology inside.
An indoor FPV drone helped us create a dynamic, visually engaging tour of the facility, taking viewers through the space in a way that felt immediate and immersive.
We brought the story to life with real people at its heart, while high-end, motion-tracked graphics highlighted key locations and stats. Together, these elements gave the film the visual impact to grab attention, showcase the facility at its best and communicate the progress and ambition behind the investment.
A social-first campaign to attract future talent
For external audiences, we took a completely different approach. Rather than repurposing the main film, we created a targeted social campaign for TikTok and Instagram, designed to engage potential recruits and apprentices.
The focus shifted from the facility itself to the people who work there, giving audiences a relatable, first-hand glimpse of life inside the centre.
We produced a series of themed, 30-second edits in vertical 9:16 format, each built around a clear message and featuring a relevant colleague. From a look at a typical day as a new apprentice, to the uniform, vehicles and tools they’d be using, each film offered a different perspective on the workplace and the opportunities available.
The delivery was deliberately natural and creator-led. Colleagues spoke directly to camera, sharing their experiences in an authentic, conversational style, supported by footage of them working hands-on with the technology and exploring the facilities. Fun, informal moments helped bring their personalities through, without losing sight of the key messages.
