Bringing the world to investors

Our client is a global alternative asset manager with more than $127bn in assets under management. They operate from more than 20 locations around the world, investing their clients’ capital by developing long-term relationships that deliver real value.

Annual ‘Investor Days’ held around the world are a cornerstone of the company’s comms activity. Designed to showcase the impact of their investment activity to current and potential investors, the Investor Days feature presentations, guest speakers and panel discussions.

To bring their investments to life, the company asked Limehouse to create a series of case study films profiling specific investments across a range of funds, strategies and territories. This would entail filming on location at the portfolio companies, talking to founders and CEOs, and showcasing the day-to-day activities of the company in question.

Our creative execution very much focused on premium production values: from the framing of stakeholder interviews to the camera lenses and techniques employed for capturing supporting footage, these portfolio companies had to be showcased in the best possible light.

We’re always looking for the story that needs telling, because a polished look can never compensate for a lack of real human stories. The passion for sustainable business from the founders, owners and CEOs of these companies is what really brings the story to life. Their expertise, determination and commitment to a sustainable way of working is what shines through, and makes our job of creating authentic stories all the more easy.

But there’s more to running a project of this size and scale than turning up and making things look pretty. The project called for shoots in London, Paris, New York, Madrid, Stockholm, Helsinki, New York and Singapore. Overseas shoots across multiple continents require rigorous planning, research and building relationships with local operators.

And this type of project requires constant cross-referencing of plans to ensure we’re never travelling unnecessarily, and making the most of any available filming time in one particular location. Since 2024, we’ve been tracking our annual carbon creation, offsetting it by planting trees in collaboration with Make it Wild, and implementing policies and processess to operate as sustainably as possible.
